Is it a good car, Is it a step up?

If you like a high paced family car, if you love SUV pedigree, then you are definitely gonna love the New Ford EcoSport. It's Tall, Not so long, Compact Suv, with all the distinctive ford touches one can imagine.

Practicality and space in the Ford Eco Sport are average. Cabin space is also less compared to other rivals.

Also, the interior of the Ford Eco Sport isn't eye-catching, but yes to my personal taste, I quite like it, ist unique which may not match everybody's taste.

Overall build quality is at par and even at some space better than other. Especially the 8-inch infotainment system is clearer and easy to use and it comes with Apple's car play and Android Auto, so it's easy to make phone calls, play music and for navigation.

Overall the 2021 Ford Eco Sport is a nice and decent mid-sized SUV, With quality Interiors, Aggressive and distinctive styling, but less rear space, a smaller boot, less comfort and the overall design will make some of you look at the other options.

But Rest, The Ford Eco Sport stands on the expectations and will be a choice you would definitely not regret making.

The Design and looks of the new Ford Eco Sport are actually similar to the last generation model. It's not a completely new concept. It's more a proper facelift and update, with a completely redesigned front and slightly different rear.

The front of the car is completely new with smoked headlamps, a bigger and bolder grille with the Ford badge and the triangular fog lamps, which to me looked like stickers at first.

The side profile is similar, just the alloys got an update based upon the variant you choose.

The same story goes with the rear, with slight changes in tail lamps and spare wheel, In the SE though we see a completely new rear, that's because of the removal of the mounted spare wheel.

Rest it's a neat and good looking compact SUV, which has its own presence on the road.

The Stylish SYNC System.

The new Ford Eco Sport's cabin is really a nice place to be in. Indeed, it isn't quite spacious, but yes the feel and design are unique in their own sense.

The Eco Sport's front seats come with plenty of adjustments, but its back seats are quite cramped and the boot is small.

Yes, the SYNC Infotainment System is a delight and treat to use, the ambient lighting in the footwell is quite a nice touch.

It lags behind in some areas, the disparate design may not be liked by everyone but, Overall, it's a pleasant place to be.

What's a SE?

The Ford Eco Sport SE.

The Ford Eco Sport and Eco Sport SE are actually similar, the differences are in the styling, cabin ambience and the SE doesn't have the rear-mounted spare wheel.

The Eco Sport has an all-black sporty cabin with colour accents a bit around while the SE, on the other hand, have premium-feeling beige interiors, with a silver metal finish and piano black inserts.

The exterior differences are with the grille inserts and surroundings and the front and rear claddings. Rest everything is similar in both the versions of the car.

My views on this one (In or Not).  

The Ford Eco Sport is a good car, quite unique in its own terms, suitable if you like the ford pedigree and want a solidly build compact SUV.

But, its Compact rear, small boot space, lack of quirks and features that we expect at this price point, make me go for other options. 

Will is it in or not, well it's a quite hard decision because I somewhere like it and somewhere no. For me this ford is definitely in, but maybe not for others.

Verdict

Ford has managed to drag the EcoSport from a blot on its European portfolio five years ago to a worthy competitor in the gangbusters supermini SUV segment. Better-looking, better-equipped and better to drive than ever it’s now worth a look, whereas in the past it was to be actively avoided.
